Kuroyukihime Cosplay

Some of you may know the Connichi. Germanys biggest Anime/Cosplay Convention. It's located in Kassel.
It took place 2 weeks ago and 3 weeks ago my friends decidet to go there. Great, right? Non of the cosplays I own were aviable at this time, 'cause my friends borrowed them or they weren't finished at that time. So I decided to sew a new Cosplay. Originaly I wanted to sew Asuna from Sword Art Online, but I couldn't buy Wonderflex in time and I didn't own an orange wig, so I decided to make a Kuroyukihime (from Accel World) Cosplay. And startet sewing 4 days befor con.

(That's Kuroyukihime from Accel World)

I already owned the Wig, the gloves, the shoes and the Headpiece, so the only thing I needed to sew was the dress.
I wasn't able to make pictures, but in the future I'll try taking photos of every step.

My boyfriend and one other friend helped me, 'cause I wouldn't have been able to finish it in time without them. ( A lot of love to both of them. They stay up 2 nights and 3 days for me and my cosplay. You both are the best.)
We split the dress into two pieces. The skirt and the corsage.
For the skirt we took an piece of fabric ( 140cm x 160 cm) and sew an elastic band at one of the 160cm side and the skirt were almost finished. Then we took a bit tulle and sew something like a petticoat to get that fluffy look of the skirt.

For the corsage we took one of my old bras and cut of the bra markers and this thing that goes around under your breasts ( how's that thing called?). I've bough 2 packs of elastic bra markes (you should get them at every grocery) and fortified them as bra makers and this lower-breasts thing. After that I cut out 2 stripes of black fabrice and sew one and and the lower bra side. I sew some loops on the inner side and threaded a black tread through it. Then I took some elastic fabrice and sew a broad strip with the measurements of my hips and fortified it and the ends of the two strips that were sewed on the bra. It looks like a monokini now but it's easy and comfortable to wear.
I can't write much about how the wings were made, 'cause my boyfriend made them on his own. But sadly the broke on our way to the connichi.
Until now, I haven't found enought time to take proper photos. But when we've rebuild the wings and correct some mistakes on the costume we certainly go and take some photos.
